Arc Environmental was first awarded this contract by the Maryland Department of General Services (DGS) in March of 2000. We successfully recompeted and won the contract four times. Services conducted as part of this contract include: Property Site Assessment Services (in accordance with ASTM Guidelines E 1527, E 1528); Phase II soil and groundwater sampling and analysis (in accordance with ASTM E 1903); Maryland Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) projects; soil gas surveys; Geoprobe and Hydropunch investigations; underground storage tank investigations (characterization, removal and closure); installation of groundwater monitoring wells; hazardous materials identification surveys, abatement design and abatement monitoring; mold and indoor air quality assessments; sampling and analysis of hazardous wastes; hazardous waste disposal operations; and preparation of technical specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates.
