SERVICE AREA: Building Assessment & Decommissioning
Arc Environmental is adept at providing the environmental services associated with building assessment and decommissioning, such as hazardous and regulated materials inventories and removals, including characterization and removal of PCB-containing equipment. Such services can be provided in conjunction with Voluntary Cleanup Program or Oil Control Program compliance establishing Arc Environmental as a "one-stop shop" for environmental services supporting a redevelopment project.

The building inspection will include a visual assessment of all areas of the building or site to identify regulated materials issues to be addressed for occupancy or prior to renovation and/or demolition. An assessment approach will then be developed and implemented, based on the future use of the property. Final reporting includes an itemized list of regulated materials to be addressed including quantities and locations, which may be used to support the abatement scope of work and specifications.

Arc Environmental has also managed and provided oversight for remediation and abatement projects. Our expertise includes direct oversight of contractors to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental requirements; contractor selection support and guidance; and comprehensive management for those clients who prefer a streamlined approach to attain compliance and closure through Maryland and Federal regulatory agencies.
